Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Rials was a prisoner on death row at Angola at the time of his death. He had robbed and killed a taxi driver in Baton Rouge and took the taxi, the man's hat and his money and drove to Mississippi. He died of a ruptured appendix before he could be executed.
