Funeral rites for George A. Youngblood, 91, were held last Thursday at Marthaville Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Mr. Youngblood died at his home in Marthaville.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. G.A. Youngblood of Marthaville; four sons, E.G. Youngblood of Marthaville, E.E. Youngblood of Benton, W.T. Youngblood of Shreveport and G.T. Youngblood of Lufkin, Texas; three daughters, Mrs A.C. Lock of Marthaville, Mrs. R.E. Fitch of Beebe, Ark., Mrs R.A. Massey of Natchitoches; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Natchitoches Times, Friday Nov 10, 1951 - Obituary - Died Mrs Julia Youngblood
Mrs Julia S. Youngblood, 80, died at 3:34 a.m. Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A.C. Locke of Marthaville, after a long illness.
Mrs. Youngblood, who was born is Union parish, had been a resident of the Marthaville community for the past 65 years.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Marthaville Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Brown, pastor of Pelican Baptist Church,
officiating, assisted by the Rev. P.B. Henderson, pastor, and the Rev. James Strozier, pastor of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Interment was in the Marthaville cemetery under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.
Mrs. Youngblood is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. R.E. Fitch (of) Bebee, Ark.,
and Mrs. R.A. Massey (of) Natchitoches; three sons, E.G. (of) Marthaville, E.E. (of) Benton, and G.T. Youngblood (of) Lufkin, Texas;
one sister, Mrs. S.E. Youngblood (of) Robeline, and 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
