John II immigrated to Virginia ca. 1648-1650. He was a prominent landowner in Northumberland and Lancaster Cos, Virginia and merchant of goods imported from both Hadleigh, England and from Ireland. Alice had immigrated to Virginia with her family in 1619.
Taylor name appears in Virginia records as TAYLOR, TAYLOE, TAYLEUR, TALER, TAILLER and TAILLOR.
Headright of Thomas Gerrord who claimed 1000 acres in Northumberland County.
Was a mariner, owned his own ship which "rode in port" at Southhampton, Virginia near Chesapeake Bay.

Wentworth whose daughter Mary m Elder William Brewster 1591. They were on the Mayflower 1620 and were founders of the Plymouth Colony in Massachusetts.
Gascoigne got changed to Gaskins in Virginia.
