Henry, b 1816 Duplin or WayneCountyNorth Carolina, was son of Jacob Summerlin Jr. This link was made by James Hines in his text on the Summerell, Summerlin, et al families. My research has shown nothing to disprove this link; however, I don't recall Mr. Hines showing references of documentation to prove this assumption. If this is the case and Jacob Jr is Henry's father, then the line goes like this:
