Elena, widow (of Joseph Wallace), of American nationality, living with her sons, Jacob Guales (Wales), Tomas, and Benjamin, unmarried, and 35, 25, and 23 years of age, and 4 male slaves, are living at a place named Nabancha, on the east side of the Sabine River (The Louisiana Historical Quarterly, vol 28, no 4.)
